A COLLEAGUE OF OURS WITH NOMINATION IN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Each year, since 1999, an international competition for The Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year Award, organized by FIATA and TTClub, has been held. The award is open to any young freight forwarder, providing that the candidate is no more than 31 years old, has FIATA diploma, has 2 years of full-time forwarding work experience (preferable but not mandatory), and the company he/she is employed in is a member of their National Forwarding Association. The nomination can be only one for each country.

We are happy to share that for the first year Bulgaria will participate and have a nominee in the face of Rosica Kovacheva from Terminal Operator. The Bulgarian Association for Freight Forwarding, Transport and Logistics (NBSB) has decided to nominate her to present Bulgaria in this prestigious competition.

From now on, within three months, each candidate for the prize must write a dissertation on a logistic topic for his/her country.

Candidates are presented in two rounds:
– Round 1: Providing a dissertation to select a regional winner (Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Asia Pacific);
– Round 2: The FIATA World Congress, where regional winners present their dissertations to award the big prize to one of them.

The competition is one of a kind and gives very good opportunities. The world winner will receive 2 weeks of training: one week of theoretical training in London and one week of practical training at one of the TT Club’s regional centers in London, Hong Kong or New Jersey.
