THE BIG WINNER OF FLIGHT IN ART “STOYAN KAMBAREV” AWARD IS DIMITAR NIKOLOV
The award ceremony for Flight in Art of “Stoyan Kambarev” Foundation 2019, was held on the 17th of April in the Central Military Club, Sofia.
The actor Dimitar Nikolov received the biggest award for flight in art, in competition with five other young talents. The name of the winner was announced by HRH duchess Miriam de Ungria – official honorary guest of the ceremony. The former President and honorary Chairman of the Foundation, Petar Stoyanov, awarded Dimitar with an unique statuette, made by the artist Kolio Karamfilov.
The Mayor of Sofia, Mrs. Yordanka Fandukova awarded the theatre director Petar Denchev with a special prize – he will have the opportunity to realize a spectacle in the stage of theater “Vazrazhdane” in the next theatre season.
On the ceremony was announced the first award for Cinema 355, created in honor of the 10th anniversary of “Stoyan Kambarev” Foundation. The foundation challenges young artists in cinema and professional international judges choose the three finalists – Stefani Raicheva, Yordan Mihailovski and Nadya Todorova. Each one of them had to shoot a 5 minute movie in only five days. A statuette and 10 000 BGN as a financial resource and producing services for his next movie, were awarded to Yordan Mihailovski. His next movie will be supported by “Stoyan Kambarev” Foundation and its partners NOVA Film, UFO Film and Television Studio and ARS Digital Studio.
The ceremony for awarding the flight in art of “Stoyan Kambarev” Foundation are part of the Cultural Events Calendar of Sofia Municipality.
