On 25.10.2023 was conducted the last test for the year (deployment and testing the Lamor Work
boat) related to EMSA contract. Everything went according to plan, with no incidents or damage to the property.
In October, Total commissioned a complete inspection of the equipment stored at Lesport.
On 23.10.2023, the start of the inspection was given, and it is expected to be completed at the end of
November.
At the end of September 2023, Petroceltic resumed negotiations for the selection of the logistics operator for the upcoming shallow water drilling in the Black Sea. The initial tender was announced in the summer of 2022, and the project went through series of delays due to various reasons.
In early October, Bon Marine was nominated and a contract was signed for providing integrated logistics services and a ground base for drilling operations in the Port of Varna East.
Drilling is expected to commence at the end of November and will last approximately one month.
Colleagues from Bon Marine’s Oil and Gas Department, Agency department as well as the Customs Representation Department of Terminal Operator will be working together on that project.
On October 18th, during the National navy exercise Briz 2023, Bon Marine participated with EMSA equipment (current buster 4, Ro Trawl, 100 CBM floating storage barge) as a training organization.
Three colleagues (Peter Mitkov, Viktor Karov, and Christopher Ruhumbika) conducted theoretical and practical training of the employees of the General Emergency Rescue Directorate on the equipment and its proper use when needed.
Their professionalism and competence were personally assessed by Rear Admiral Kiril Mihaylov –
Commander of the Bulgarian Navy.
On October the 10th 2023 , 11th Logistics Business Conference took place in Sofia Event Center – under the motto SMART, GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS. More than 270 professionals from 120 companies took part in the logistics event of the year. The forum presented different ideas and solutions for green and sustainable business.
It is the largest event in the logistics sector in Bulgaria.
Leading experts addressed in the panel discussion the topic: Transport and logistics in the vortex of change: How, to what extent, at what pace, at what cost.
Speakers presented how they introduce good practices and new solutions, how they introduce green and smart technologies and how they prepare their business for sustainable development navigation of the turbulent waters of change.
Bon Marine participated with a representative stand in the Expo area, and our colleagues had the opportunity to present both the current portfolio of services, as well as the new logistics center in Sofia, which will open in 2024.
