In mid-December 2023 started the active part of the long-delayed drilling project of Petroceltic Bulgaria.

Bon Marine provides the logistical services from a base in Port Varna East.

The wellhead is immediately adjacent to the Galata production platform, 22 km east from Varna, with a designed depth of 1100 m. The well is a jack-up self-elevating drilling unit – GSP Saturn.

Despite numerous challenges associated with the Petroceltic operator and main subcontractor GSP Offshore, colleagues from the Ship Agency, Oil & Gas and Customs Brokerage handled the challenges with dignity and professionalism.

On 12.02.2024 the active phase of the project ended, demobilization of the equipment and logistics base are pending.
