BON MARINE PARTICIPATES IN A MARITIME EXERCISE ORGANIZED BY THE BULGARIAN NAVY
On 17 July 2026, Bon Marine, in its capacity as a contractor to the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) under the Black Sea Equipment Assistance Service (EAS) contract, participated in a maritime exercise organized by the Bulgarian Navy. The exercise included an oil spill response scenario.
During the exercise, Bon Marine deployed one of the oil spill response systems stored at the EAS Black Sea equipment stockpile – Current Buster 4, a high-speed system designed to contain and recover oil spills.
Bon Marine handled the logistics for the transportation, delivery and return of the equipment. The company also familiarized the requesting authority – the Directorate General for Emergency Rescue Activities at the Executive Agency Maritime Administration – with the deployment and operation of the equipment and provided technical and operational support throughout the exercise.
