Bon Marine with certificate of honor from BAS – Institute of Oceanology

Bon Marine received a certificate of honor for long-term cooperation and support of marine science on the 40th anniversary of Research Vessel Akademik.

A total of 338 research cruises have been carried out, 30 of them international, were carried out with R/V “Akademik” in 40 years. This was said by the director of the Frittof Nansen Institute of Oceanology, Prof. Dr. Atanas Palazov.

The scientific-research ship AKADEMIK was built in 1979, and has been in operation since 1984. In 1988, it was refitted and furnished with modern navigational and research equipment system.
